How it works
Define the powers
Tell us what the representative must do. We draft precise wording — too broad or too vague a power of attorney is a common reason for refusal.
Bilingual text
We prepare the text in Armenian and the other language so both sides understand exactly what is authorised.
Signature
You sign before a notary in Armenia, at an Armenian consulate, or before a notary in your country of residence.
Legalization and translation
We apostille or legalize the power of attorney and translate it, ready for the institution that will receive it.
Living abroad and acting in Armenia
A power of attorney signed abroad must be legalized (usually by apostille) in the country where it was signed and translated into Armenian with notarial certification before Armenian banks, the Cadastre Committee or notaries accept it. Through ABC Translation's offices in Europe we can organise the steps in both countries.

Frequently asked questions
How long is a power of attorney valid?
The validity is stated in the document. Some institutions refuse powers of attorney older than a certain date, so tell us when and where it will be used.
Can one power of attorney be used in several countries?
Only if each country accepts its legalization and language. A bilingual text with an apostille is the most flexible option for Hague Convention countries.
Do I need to travel to Yerevan from Ijevan?
No. Send scans by email for a quote; when originals are needed, send them by courier or HayPost and we return the finished documents the same way.
