What United Arab Emirates requires

The UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention. Armenian documents go through consular legalization (Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then the UAE embassy) and are then attested by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs on arrival.

How it works

  1. Check the destination's chain

Every consulate has its own rules: which documents need a notarised translation, which language, and which fees. We confirm them for your country first.

  2. Notarisation and translation

Where required, the document or its copy is notarised and translated into the destination language.

  3. Ministry of Foreign Affairs

We submit the documents to the consular department of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for legalization.

  4. Consulate or embassy

We submit the file to the consulate or embassy of the destination country, pay the consular fee on your behalf and collect the legalized documents.
